EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


During my working career I have gained experience at Management level within the Post Office, I have excellent Administrative experience gained within the Post Office and Pension Service. I have to speak to customers on a daily basis, offering advice and assistance, these customers are mostly elderly and it is important to be able to communicate clearly and concisely. I have excellent organisational skills I work as part of a team our aim is to provide excellent customer service and ensure all queries sent to our section are promptly processed; I am responsible for ensuring that my customers are paid promptly and that any changes in their circumstances are correctly recorded on the computer system. I have to make decisions on information sent in by customers based of guidance procedures and how this will impact on their claim. I make use of the systems notepad to record all information and changes that I have made to a customers claim. I have excellent keyboard skills and use spreadsheets, Outlook calendar, e-mail and fax to help me ensure that my workload is well managed. Through courses and through repairing configuring and installing software on computers on a daily basis combined with the hands on experience which I have gained a ITC Specialist within the Civil Service, this combined with my strong administrative and Management experience and the experience that I have gained teaching computers, combined my enthusiastic interest in all aspects of New Technology. I feel that I have all the qualities that are essential for the position of _________________, as advertised. I have my own car and I am available to work outside office hours.
